And his name was Bingo..

What is the Name of the Game? BINGO! How do we play it? LOUDLY!!!
This is what Rach and I heard the ten or so rounds we played with the Gays @ Hamburger Mary's on Wednesday night.
This wasn't you run of the mill Grandma Bingo... eventhough that would have made for some amazing picts. My friend Terry is raising Money for his Triathlon that he will do in June benefitting Leukemia and Lymphoma. So his team had this fundraiser.
The Mistress of Ceremonies was a hard-ass sarcastic drag queen, she was really funny. Her guest callers were Terry and Michelle.
If you made her wait then you had the fate to be spanked with her BINGO sign.
Rach and I came close to winning several times. But the other patrons had better luck that evening.
I had a delicious Buffalo Burger with Cheese... yum....
We cruised there on our bicycles it was a fantastic evening of dobbers, rides and fun ;)
The bathroom had an amazing disco fever motif. We had to grab a pict.
By the end of the night my hands were covered in green ink from dotting my cards... What can I say I am not clean, just a dirty girl...

I had my last day at my job downtown on Wed. No more staring out of tall buildings for me. I also have decided that it is best for me to stop drinking. A lifestyle change, but one that is going to be really helpful and healthy. That shit is just poison for me. Rach is so supportive and has joined me in my quest. I am very grateful to have her in my life. I am ready to start a new chapter of my life. Change is in the air. I embrace it. I am ready to live a happier life.

A mechinique time

Just got back from San Fran. That city all ways steals my heart whenever I go there. Their is something nice about the rolling hills and the cool breeze. And being able to walk almost everywhere.
Had to escape the smog to clear my mind....
I was so greatful to spend time with friends that don't see enough.
And have no responsibilites for three days. Ah the joys of vacation.
The museum de mechaneque was great for watching tourists. They are such interesting creatures..

I made the big step today. I gave my two weeks notice @ my downtown job. Being up that high can't be good for me ;)
I am going to work with kids in Santa Monica teaching them how to use computers. I am excited to make a difference in young poeple's lives. A new challenge, teaching...
But for now I will enjoy my smoggy view for two more weeks
Hope you are all well.

May Day

It is amazing to me that it is already May. How does my life fly past me @ such an alarming rate. I am coming to the realization that being an adult is hard work. It is so easy to fall into being lazy and not taking care of yourself when you are stressed.

This downtown job is killing me. I am not sure how much more excitement I can stand there. I might have to run fleeing from the kitchen. I think I want to work with Kids. Adults are to stressful. I need to not sit on my ass all day long and have my back turn into a wound up knot. I want to inspire and chalenge not feel like some one's lacky.

Trying to do some fun things lately... Drinking 40's and dancing in a tu- tu. Going to visit Grandma and going to a May Day party with hippies and kids in Santa Barabara. You know embracing life. And still exploring my love for old cars.

Hope all is well.
